Professor Akshay Rao has been elected to serve as President of the Policy Board of the Journal of Consumer Research for a one-year term.

The policy board crafts the direction of the journal, engages in governance, and will, this coming year, select the next editor of the journal.

Associate Dean George John has been named the 2013 Louis W. Stern Award winner by the American Marketing Association Foundation.
